The most visible sign of self control in a soldier is the control of what comes out of his mouth. Profanity is the oral expression of the environment of war & its very easy to allow it to take over and to command you. But it limits you, it describes you, it reveals you as profane, something out of control. If you cannot learn to control your mouth, then you shall never be able to control anything about yourself pg102
