Status Updates From The Accidental Book Club

Not my favourite book, but a nice one to put me to sleep at night.

Enjoying this as a nice "right before bed" read.

Ohhhh, my heart.

Not an enjoyable read so far. A still grieving older widow takes in her rebellious teenage granddaughter when her daughter (the teen's mother) goes to rehab. It's one emotionally wrought scene after another. That could make for a good novel, but mixed in with the more lighthearted book club scenes, it's not really working for me. Plus, the characters of both the grandmother and teen feel unrealistic to me.
