Beckett's daughter doesn't want him to like Quinn as she thinks it means he didn't love her deceased mum. Quinn has no kids, teaches swimming and deals with kids in court. She has a soft spot for them. She also has strong feelings/reaction to Beckett right from the start. He is THE BEST book boyfriend ever.

Have decided to re-listen to one of my favorites each week. This audio is exceptional and a pure delight. Single Aussie dad Beckett with two kids moves to take a job in Montana. He meets Quinn local judge, she is strong, tough and takes his breath away.

Dang, can this couple stop arguing for longer than two seconds? Also, this is my second book recently where I’m not sure I like the main female character. 🤔

Been 6 years or so since I read the previous books in this series. It’s nice to have this new installment. Rosalyn James is one of my faves and her books always give me the biggest urge to travel!

Love this audio book with all the aussie accents. The plot is smart, witty and emotional with humor. Single dad with 5 and 11 yr old kids comes to Montana for a job. He meets and falls for local judge. She is take charge woman that has been dumped twice for more girly girls so she thinks she is just meant to be alone - NO she just never found a man that is her equal and can handle her.

Loving this! It's funny, cleverly written, with great characters. Single dad (wife died) with 2 kids and a stray dog - meets super confident lawyer/judge and the sparks fly.

This is a great scene! I love women who stick up for themselves.
