Status Updates From Endangered

Guilty, karma, wail, grief, sullen. These words give a heavy and deepened tone to the story. The reason for the word choice is to give the reader the sense of feeling the characters are feeling. A classmate died after Panda had exposed her secret on her infamous website as Grey which caused her to feel guilty about it. Also, her secret admirer hints that they were involved.

The lengths Panda is willing to go to for this "photography game" goes to show how passionate she is and how much she cares about what people think about her talents. Her drive to be the best in everything she does has become a constant pattern in the story.

Panda continues to play with her secret admirer's "game". She tends to get competitive, especially with photography. Considering the lengths she went for her last photo, I feel like she will continue with this pattern of going to great lengths to compete with this other person. Her hall ghost persona is also starting to diminish a little bit at school as people start to notice her.

I would compare Panda with a ghost pepper. First in the wording. "Ghost" is what she tries to be at school, she does everything she can to blend in and become invisible. Second, she seems innocent and nice on the outside but on the inside, she is pretty spicy. She exposes people's secrets when they treat someone else poorly. She also gets caught up in her ways and has a bit of an attitude with her family and friend.

"Blackmail" means to use something against someone in order to get them to do something or not reveal a secret or personal information about them. This word is used in my book when the main character is being blackmailed into doing what the "secret admirer" wants her to do.

One lesson I have learned from the book is that there's more to someone than what they allow others to see. There is many instances of hiding one's true identity in this book and you don't understand the characters very well until you learn their back story. Then you can change your perspective and see events differently than before.

I don't think Panda would believe in the American dream because while she was born in America, she is from two different countries and her parents were from other countries before they moved. Not that she doesn't believe she can't find success, I think she could do something with her photography talent. I think right now she is more focused on high school rather than achieving the American dream.

I think Panda would be celebrating with her family and best friend for the holidays. She is a mix of German and African American so they would have food from both cultures. I think that her best friend's family would celebrate with them.

It interests me why Panda feels she needs to expose her peers and how she sees it as justice. I have a feeling there is a deeper reason why she started exposing her classmates that hasn't been revealed yet. She just finished taking pictures of one of her classmates that would expose a huge secret because she had humiliated a girl with cerebral palsy. It is still unclear what Panda's intentions are behind her hobby.

Panda tried to save her friend Taylor for her admirer, because she has reason to believe that the admirer is going to kill him. Taking photos of her in the hospital waiter room. Panda has certainly been more closed off and paranoid, not letting anybody tell her that shes crazy, although she may sound like she is. She has certainly been acting strange and different than she had been, mostly after she lost her friend.

Panda's best friend stopped being her friend. Saying things about how mean she has been, and how she hates the nicknames shes received from Panda. Ever since Panda has certainly not been the same individual. She is acting different and distant from everybody. and is having many breakdowns. This makes me think that maybe Mei, (Panda's friend), could have been her stalker all along and I hadn't caught it.

Panda has been helped by two people in her attempt to figure out who her secret stalker is. They have been a big help but sadly ruled out her main suspect, and gave her a new one. 204 new ones actually. She has definitely had a switch in personality too, becoming a more reserved and confrontational person. Less happy, and losing all of her friends.

Panda has been outed as Grey. She is acting very different now too, Not getting sleep, losing friends, and above all, not knowing who to trust. She is getting threats and assaults left and right. Nobody respects her anymore and even though she tries to blend in, she is now the most popular kid in school, for the reason nobody would want to be. Everybody hates her and she has nobody to trust.

Panda was exposed for being Gray Scales, and things could not go more horrible. She starts acting different though, uncertain, can't sleep, afraid, still trying to be a hall ghost but to no avail. Everyone knows, and not everyone Is happy about it. Especially not the people she exposed. She is acting much different than she was because now everyone knows, and she cant hide away like she used to be able too.

Panda has received a photo of a girls murder from her stalker. The photo was the girl in the most recent post from her account GrayScales. Then, her stalker Challenges her to a game again, to get more photos like the ones he's sending. The odd idea of this game contenuing to happen. It keeps happeng and her stalker keeps pushing her to play this game.

Panda is trying to top her stalkers most recent photo. After her stalkers persisted that it isn't blackmail, but rather, a game. One that Panda chose to play. This is the second time the stalker has forced Panda to top his photo. It continues to happen over, and over again, leaving her no choice but to comply, and prove to him that she's better, once again.

The main character Panda tried to top her stalkers most recent post by doing something dangerous. She takes her camera set up and takes a photo in a hurricane. She asks herself the tough of if the photo is good enough to beat her stalkers photo, and if she made a mistake even trying, and starting the "Gray" persona in the first place.

Panda has been navigating her way throughout the school with something that keeps popping up in her head, sent to her by her stalker. "How do you get gray? you put a Panda in a blender." That message has been playing in her kind over and over again, as well as the thought of not knowing who this stalker of hers could be.

The main character Panda has been caught exposing people in her school for doing bad things. What keeps repeating is Panda's thoughts, being worried about what comes next once people find out. She is extremely nervous for people ridiculing her and doing unspeakable things to her for exposing them. She is fearful that once she is exposed she will face the backlash that she has made others experience.

The main character Panda, is a photographer, and exposes people in the school, by taking pictures of things they are doing that would get them in a lot of trouble. The chapters I have read, I have realized that she is not the only one taking pictures, she has a stalker also taking pictures of her. I believe that the stalker is taking pictures for blackmail, so Panda will become hated for posting pictures of others.
