Buck LaSalle wasn’t anything like what she had expected him to be. No banjo. No gun— except for the rifle in his truck, ...No beer belly. His clothes were clean. He didn’t chew or spit anything black and disgusting. He even had teeth. Worst of all,...he didn’t look stupid.
