“I’m dropping ten K an hour at the blackjack table, they are instructed to wine and dine you to subliminal bliss, and you’re ordering a hot dog and fries?”

I glanced at the clock: 9:18 a.m. “How long did it take me?”

“About four minutes.”

“So, why does Broward hate you so bad?”

“I think a better question is, why does Broward want to protect you so much?”

“Evasive.”

had to make sure i removed any other books by this author i had in my waiting list
there was at least one

and the blurb seemed stupid too

when and where the fuck did i find these books to add to my reading list????

i’ll happily forget this entire shitty reading experience

back bc i had more notes after skimming the blurbs for the rest of this series and some of their reviews

tbh
that 1.5 book in the mmcs pov had me 2% interested to read it for about two seconds

didnt even realize this was a whole series
the way book one ended
one of those throwaway shitty smut stories that goes nowhere

long story short
the rest of this series seems fucking stupid

99% of this was all shit

not just the shit writing
shit characters
shittier plot
shit dialogue

🥱

i won’t say what that one percent exception was

so i started this read over a month ago
and forgot about it

i have no idea what the actual fuck i’m reading
and how i even found this book in the first place

i’m skimming it rn and it’s so fucking boring
