Status Updates From Newton's Laws of Attraction...

Ben's a jerk. He had eight years to beg for Rory's forgiveness, but he was too much of a coward, still is. It was always about what Ben wanted, even now as adults. Not about Rory's feelings or what Rory wants. Ben refuses to respect Rory's boundaries. Again, it's all about Ben. It's easy to see how Rory still hurts even if we don't get his pov. Ben doesn't deserve Rory.

Yup, I had that feeling all along... Rory is an asshole. A selfish, piece of shit asshole. Totally taking advantage of Ben's feelings just to get back into a place of comfort. Ben and Fen are a way better couple in my eyes.

Wow... I feel for Ben. He's made mistakes but he also deserves to be forgiven. Luckily for him, Rory seems to still have a soft spot for him.
Reaaaaally hope this ends with an HEA, or I won't be happy.

It took me a while to decide but yeah, no, I didn't like Rory's "voice" for this. It sounded too rough, too edgy for a geeky guy. I wouldn't want it high and squeaky or whatnot, but *shrug* IDK, I just didn't like it.

JFC, I thought reading really hot sex scenes was a turn on...listening to them is as good as actual porn. Fuck. Also, how in the hell do the narrators not pop wood? (Provided this was their cuppa, that is.) I tried reading some passages out loud to myself, using the same kinds of inflection and tone. Yeah, I need a cold shower now...

Oh, I feel bad for Ben...but HE was the one who chose popularity and "friends" over Rory. (Also, I really want to read Fen's story now - he was too eager and sounded to knowledgeable for a "straight" guy while they hung out at the gay club.)

I knew it. Didn't make it any harder to hear. Rory better make Ben grovel, maybe lick his boots a little, before forgiving him.

Oh, their teenage romance realization is sooo sweeeeet. Of course, making the varsity team can only mean bad things in the future for the jock and the geek.

Gonna listen to this while I make dinner...needed a break from the overwhelming emotion of Regularly Scheduled Life. Fuck that book is intense.

I SERIOUSLY want to DNF this book. Both MCs are SOOO ANNOYING!! I'm halfway to finish line, so I'll just endure it a bit more. If it was 200-300 pages or more, I'll just DNF it right this part --> when Rory reluctantly revealed he actually toying Ben's heart all this time.

The plot reminds me of yaoi manga that I read several years ago. Angsty, misunderstanding, lack of communication, vengeance. And at this point, I don't think I'll like this book. :(
This is the 2nd book from O'Shea that I read, and just like "Coming Home", I didn't like the MCs too. I know Ben was a youngster back then, a kid, but still... his attitude left bad taste, and it seems Rory is no better too...*sigh*

Hmmm... I know it's PC that characters under 18 don't have sex, but you are not going to convince me that 17 year old boys would only kiss and not touch, because they "aren't ready"... Come one...

Really enjoying the slow burn.
