Really enjoying this read so far. Initially I was a little taken aback by Lorca self-harming. The author describes everything with such potent metaphors that it's impossible to look away from the pages even though the content can be uncomfortable. It was just revealed that Victoria is Lorca's grandmother, and I'm intrigued to where this is going to go... Presumably Victoria will find out her daughter is abusive.
