Status Updates From 倒錯的歸結: 上吊島

I think the author of this book is clearly paying homage to Seishi Yokomizo's novel Hell Gate Isle.

Still I must point out the locked room murder mystery part of this book is a bit weak. What a pity.

I really like the ending, heheheh. It makes me smile wickedly.

The male detective novelist is imprisoned by a crazy female fan, who forced him to write a locked room mystery masterpiece.

Ah, we are going straight to Stephen King's Misery. LOL

Holy shit, this book is one hell of a mind fuck, in a good way.

The first story ends, and I know something would go terribly wrong next...

Now here's a big revealing.

The second victim down. And god, the narrator is such a blockhead.

First victim was killed in an entirely locked room.

throughout centuries, three priests died in the same locked room, where no one else could break into.

The nameless novelist is treated like a VIP on the remote island, that's too suspicious for something fishy NOT to be going on.

two murder mysteries.

The ending part is nice.

Okay, finally she came to realize it was the man who lives opposite of her apartment is the one who'd taken her pictures, so what's next?

But I really don't get why would the young woman still haven't suspected it was the man who lived across the road who is the one who sent her her photo of nudity. It's so obvious.=__=

I can hardly put the book down, the kidnapping and stabbing of young women, the web of lies, secret, lust and sex among the Peering Tom, the old thief, the young Office Lady and her manager lover, that's so exciting!

Why must he get drunk again? That's stupid!

Aside from the kidnapped/disappeared women, there's a manic in the loose stabbing young women as well...what's going on!? Oh the suspense!

Shit has just hit the fan! A corpse has just showed up! But did the Peering Tom really do kill the manager's wife when he was drunk out of his mind?

Wait, now the bossy wife of the manager winded up disappeared? Did someone do something to this woman!? What's going on?

So the Peering Tom wants revenge on the young woman and her lover...but on the other hand, the old thief wants to protect the girl and punish her lover, who lies to her whilst using her body for sex?

What will happen later? what's next?

Okay, so that Peering Tom who lives across the street is spying on the young woman and her manager while they're having sex in the girl's apartment...

What will happen next? I kind of know that none of these will end well...

When the thief found out the young girl wrote in her diary that "she no longer believes the manager is a playboy because he's so kind to her". the thief became so filled with pity with that girl, to a point that he decided not to rob her.XD

So this 50 years old thief broke into a young Office Lady's apartment and started reading her diary, and then he read about the young lady's encounter with an attractive middle age manager...then the thief came up with this comment: "Oh girl you're in danger of being seduced by this manager guy!"

That's so made of win!

The author really did create a realistic, intensive atmosphere in this book.

Once again the guy was spying on his new female neighbor, I like how he struggled with himself but couldn't stop what he was doing.

Now another woman had moved into the strangled victim's apartment, and the lone middle age man is feeling uneasy about it...
