And funny that his approach was to send Kandeel to join the dead in their misery, being sent to a desered area. Funny that the people, who were primarly against the gov decision, are the ones who are enjoying the gardens built in replacement to the tombs and Kandeel who were the sole defender for this decision is sent to the tombs.

I have read حديقة الورد. My first impression is bias from the author towards the main charcter POV which is interesting that he mentioned throughout the story that fear and bias were the reasons why the case was closed with anonymous murder. I also find interesting that the muderer, whose main argument against the victim was about dead people dignity, had little respect towards the living.
