Status Updates From A Collection of Kate Chopin...

Listening to this, I did not enjoy the narrator's voice or phrasing. Still, that's on me, most likely because I first read Kate Chopin's words long ago with different characters, voices, and narration in mind. Even with my dismay in the "voice" that I heard, I was astounded by Chopin's clarity, succinct writing, and exceptional storytelling. I'll return to her stories when I have a long period of relaxation.
