Status Updates From Bloody Fabulous

Finished "The Coat of Stars" by Holly Black, about a bisexual male fashion designer going home to his traditional family. Needless to say, It's Complicated, and becomes more so when he rescues a family member and realizes in doing so that a (male) lover of his may have also been taken -- by faeries. Really clever use of the theme, and the fashion is indeed very nicely described.

totally skipped the galligaskins story. why was it written in weird old timey language???

capturing images was so good. it was unexpectedly funny and i loved evelyn.

i think i would like this more if i was really into fashion. grandma zofia's skin bag was good though.

i definitely read holly black's story before but i haven't heard of any of the other authors. so far i liked the nightwalker story the best, but none of them are really my thing.
