Status Updates From A History of Archaeological...

This book has been very helpful so far. The first chapter is a little hard to get through without some prior knowledge of archaeological theory, however, once you get a firm grasp on the main theoretical foundations, it becomes easier. It is a very good introduction for archaeology students!

You gotta hand it to this guy, he knows a lot about a lot of different countries and their archaeological traditions

At first I was put off by his description of the Enlightenment but it's getting good... he does a good job of recognizing political economy
