Love it so far, it kinda reminds me of the dragonriders of pern.

Clearly the last status update was written when I was tired and irritated by the shenanigans that Goodreads was exhibiting last night. Writing is still bad.

It's almost as if someone totally different is writing the story now. Prose has tightened up a bit, and it's no longer making me cringe. I'm not relaxing my guard though. Who knows when it could get terrible again?

Juvenile. The writing is completely juvenile. Or senile. Not sure which at this point. I'm just glad I didn't spend money on this.

8 pages later and more than two months have passed. Not usually a big deal - if done properly. This wasn't. I'm wondering how two in universe months have passed. Or why someone just died. Not happy at all with how this book is turning out.

This book makes no sense. She just met the dragons and already sentences such as "...amazed as ever by the way the scales grew..." are appearing. Clearly whomever was in charge of editing was drinking on the job.
