As Samuel Beckett wrote, "I can't go on. I'll go on." I now know he meant getting to the end of Comedia.

Our little band of readers had got tired of paradise and wondered if it was all worth it. Is the final stanza really a destination worth ascending to. All we could agree to - among all these morally righteous and the correct theological path, the blinding light and all that - was we might as well finish, we got this far, and no one was converted and all this god and theology stuff is a serious drag.
