Chapter 13; Unexpected Visit - Eliza is supposed to pursue stopping Gage from marrying Penelope?? Save him from his unhappiness? No. Usually I can buy into craziness for love, but there’s no way I’d chase him. He’s clandestine his choice. Eliza should leave him to deal with it. His sick sister is just an excuse, and a stupid one as well.

I rated book 1 in this series a five star. However, it’s not written as maturity as my normal five star books, but I enjoyed Gage and Eliza’s story. I was anxious to keep reading. Chapter 11, the Encounter chapter in Who We Are has me rating this book as of this moment at a maximum of a 3. The crutch of Gages issues keeping him away from Eliza is just too far fetched; too over the top.
