Faith and the Foreman by Marsha Ward - this one had a dangerous feel to it, which shook things up! Poisoning, rattlesnakes, shootings, “swearing encyclopedically” (I thought that phrase was hilarious, even if there were more swears than I would like)... it was good! A good last story in the anthology.

The Sweetest Taste by Annette Lyon - oh, Joseph! I loved him. He was so sweet. And I understand Della and why she felt she had to leave; I also understand why she came back. Smart girl.

The Silver Mine Bachelor by Heather B. Moore - I was surprised that there were a few swear words in this one. But this one had a lot of depth that I wasn’t expecting, and I really liked it.

Hidden Spring by Liz Adair - Ooh, so good! Poor Susannah had gone through so much, she just needed for something to go right. And Douglas was a good person to talk about her loss with. A sweet, sweet story.

The Soldier’s Heart by Sarah M. Eden - *swoon* Ohhhhh yeah, that’s what I’m talking about! This story is a perfect example of why I read these anthologies. It was so good.

Break a Leg by Carla Kelly - the writing style of this one was quite different than what we normally find in these anthologies, but that kept my attention all the more. I really liked this story. I liked seeing both Colm and Audra overcome their fears and work together.
