Absolutely love the art style here. It would have been very easy to try to mimic the more realistic style of the video game, but they've gone full cartoon with the artwork and it leads to so much expressiveness in the character's eyes and body language. There's a moment where Ellie gets her Walkman stolen and it's treated with the weight and gravitas it feels like at 13.

Love these characters so much.
