also this covered a lot of hitting the apex stuff so when he referenced the marco press conferences i'd seen them before

this was the part of the book where casey talks about his time with ducati and WOW he pulled no punches lol
i'm lowkey amazed that he was allowed to write this book bc he slandered ducati management so much (not unjustly lol)
also it included his original impressions of jorge lorenzo, and pt 1 of his issues with vale fans.
also reminded me of the person that said casey probably would have hated marc LMAO

started reading because i watched hitting the apex and casey stoner was lowkey iconic. also because if casey hadn't retired when he did marc wouldn't have had a factory seat for 2013 and history would be very very different. also because phillip island was last month, and i just discovered casey gave charles the pole tire at aus is 2022, and that they share a birthday
