“Crown Him with Many Crowns”, apparently is a combo written by a Catholic and a Protestant, through they didn’t mean it to be. So cool!

O Sacred Head Now Wounded was a translation from the Latin by a Presbyterian minister. I love that hymn and didn’t realize it had such deep roots into the past. It gives the hymn even more meaning to me now.

“Never a trial that He is not there, never a burden that He doth not bear, never a sorrow that He doth not share, moment by moment I’m under His care.” I don’t know this hymn, but this verse touched me. So beautiful in its truth.

“All glory, laud and honor, to Thee redeemer King! To whom the lips of children, made sweet Hosannas ring!” Another beautiful hymn. I probably sound cheesy, but I keep singing these as soon as I see the title in the chapter heading. It really brightens my day!

Not the song, but the story. Scottish doctor Mackey was making his rounds in the hospital and came across a man dying from injuries on the job. The doctor was impressed by the dying man’s love for his Bible and then the Dr realized it was HIS Bible that he had sold years before! That brought the Dr back to his faith. The Lord works in mysterious ways indeed.
