I'm actually really enjoying this story. It is definitely written differently than Robert B. Parker...but still minimal, but more wordy, than normal.

The tone of the book is a bit different from Robert B. Parker, but it isn't off-putting. Parker was more staccato style sentences, with very little description (minimalist). Robert Knott is NOT a minimalist, but he doesn't write "purple prose" either. So far, I'm invested into the story...and it is keeping me engaged. All good.
