While the author is working hard to be informative, unconsciously he neglects some facts. Intentionally or unintenrionally the author disregards the oppression of Brits towards Boers who were all alone in search of a better life. I couldn't find the greed of British empire towards the newly discovered diamond and gold.
Overall, the book is well written but so far I feel the slight bias against Boers while reading.
