I have SO many thoughts. 1) This story moves quickly. 2) I’m seeing the “lovers to enemies to lovers” trope. They aren’t enemies long enough in my opinion. 3) I’m seeing red flags for the dude, no matter how British he is. So that’s how the book is so far.

It’s so strange moving from a first-person story to a third-person-omniscient story. But dang, third-person omniscient can drive a reader crazy. You can see all the problems and do nothing to fix them. Most of all you can see the MISCOMMUNICATION, of which makes my skin crawl and causes me to screech. But it’s gReAT.

Starting my Christmas reads in honor of the beginning of “SeptemBURR.” It’s basically Christmas so I’m getting my head start.
