Status Updates From Origins (Unseen Things, #1)

It's a YA novel initially set in a high school. The plot mystery is introduced very briefly (the missing mother and sibling). One of the female main characters is "Beautiful" but normal (i.e. not a snob). The male main character is well built. Kind of slow so far. Not an awespecious start. Hope it gets better.
