Book recommended by current songwriting teacher. Not so much about the art or creation but mostly about craft, standards for pop/ hit songs. Meh… I really appreciate Alex Forbes’ Write Songs Right Now much more. Her positivity & enthusiasm are more encouraging.

I think the best way to go about this is to write a song as I go throughout the book. This way I can fr practice in real time instead of just acquiring the knowledge. It’s been working so far ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
