A cute little romance or puppy-love would be a good subplot only if it were written differently in one specific scenario in the book. The age gap isn't that big but the situation is kinda weird knowing that one of them is really young (emphasis on 'really').

I just learned that this was a sequel?! Also, kudos to the author for making me hate the antagonists and other obnoxious side characters.
