No, I did not speed through over two hundred pages of one of the most notoriously difficult Tolkien books in a day, but I am picking up here in my wonderful new copy where I left from the old tattered one. And I have a decent map now!!!

Okay I'm not actually finished with it but I am switching to my nice new hardcover edition and so I will be retiring this battered copy. Will count it as finished reading in different context.
