i’m not looking forward to rereading the rest of this series

but as i said
it’s unfortunate for me
bc the shitty writing for this interesting alien rh romance plot is interesting and is just memorable
even after all these years since i first read this series

the poor execution and wasted potential is such a shame

a few months ago at least
i started rereading this book
unfortunately
it was shit

the constant hitting me over the head with all the mean girl club cliches and plus sized whining

on top of the cringe unbelievable dialogue and writing

the poorly written sex and dirty talk was a turn off every time

etc …

and i only just now finished this reread
the end of it at least

seems i initially rated this two stars

i’m now changing it to one and adding it to my utter shit shelf where it belongs

this is the one where one of the four guys gives/goads her into eating spicy shit thar nearly chokes her

i refuse to put this on my smut shelf
bc i refuse to add shit smut to that shelf.

i think i might rewrite this shit at the very least
or something close

the concept isnt anything new or interesting besides the memorable detail of them being red and big and tasting like chocolate or whatever
and annoyingly snarky fmcs being bullied by the mean girls

i’m so bored

one thing i remember clearly about this series is the repetitive and tiresome whining about plus sized women not being loved
both by others and mostly by the fmcs themselves
and i assume the author too obvi

the woman in the cover photo isnt even plus sized imo

the writing is trash dialogue even more so

oh just noticed the guys on the cover arent even fucking red
