I dunno... I'm skeptical about this one, but it was free a while back, and the premise strikes me as interesting. Already in the very first chapter the expected bias is as subtle as a tuba, but we'll see...

I keep debating about finishing this book. Perhaps a great book if you are into fiction, but I didn't come here to read fiction. It's just more drama that I care for.

A real page turner, and much more of a thriller than I am used to reading. I expected a non-fiction book, and instead am treated to a continual scene of horror as the society disintegrates when the president of the US declares that all guns must be turned in.

So far can't put it down. Stomach in knots because we seem to be barreling down a road which may very well put us in this position if war with our government a d occupied by the UN troops. We certainly have a lame congress who a ts complicit e with the out of control executive branch. God I hope enough people wake up to this tyrrany. This story could end up being prophetic.

Finally a battle scene written with details. It's likely the last battle of the book but hey at least the author got around to writing one. If you are a conspiracy lover this book will at least touch on your favorite one, as each one is thrown out there. At this point I have given up taking this author seriously at all and am just enjoying the ride. It is much funner that way and I have had a couple good laughs.

Not an easy read so far. Rather wordy. The combat scenes are cut way short, while the dramatic aftermath are overwritten.

Some of this is so unbelievable, unrealistic that I've been shaking my head, thinking Ya, that's gonna happen, Not. I know its fiction & I'm supposed to suspend my disbelief, roll with it and search for the author's underlining message, but come on now, the ENTIRE U.S.A. in military and U.N. enforced marshal law inside of 36 hours? Drones hovering over the city, forest and countryside bombing groups of civilians?!

Although I am just into the first 3 chapters, I can say this book jumps right into story line. We have already had a couple murders, the silencing of the Media and Phone services, and a shoot out at a road block.
