Status Updates From The Complete Works of Plato

Statesman - a bit of a drag, but like the Sophist, what is much more interesting is what is left out -- the third dialogue on the Philosopher. Perhaps it was lost, I'm not across the history, but I am intrigued by the idea that the Statesman in its process tells us all we need to know to be able to extrapolate about the philosopher themselves - especially in reading this dialogue as a predecessor to the Republic.
