sigh ily sartre, even when you’re really hard to understand

One essay in, borrow time over. Didn’t really feel inclined to finish.

Im slowly finding myself all confused.

I am wondering what the difference is between stoicism and existentialism is. Optimistic toughness sounds a lot like stoic philosophy, as does the idea that hero's aren't born but made, as is the mind not endowed with wisdom but rather must seek it. Is it a matter of time, that its post-WWII and in opposition to the earlier philosophy?
