Utterly tragic that they're probably only going to face Mukai once - I like this kid!

I get that the new assistant coach isn't evil - he just has a different approach - but because the actual coach cares about all his players instead of just the ones that seem particularly useful, he sure as hell comes across like it.

I honestly think Kataoka favours Eijun the most of all the pitchers. He reminds him on his younger self, and he seems to think he has the right attitude, the skill and potential to be an ace. Which is why it's the first (and I think the only??) time Kataoka looks legitimately pissed at Ochiai for his "coaching". He was definitely not pleased Ochiai nearly convinced Eijun to give up on playing to become a supporter.

For this manga, the MC is not exactly the main character. He feels more like a side supporting character. I am somewhat saddened by that since I have been rooting for him. Now as the story progresses on, he is slipping even more far away.

Argh! I hate this new coach. I hope he is not going to stay. Sawamura and the rest of the team members would be ruined by the likes of him. He doesn't respect the players at all.
