And in spite of not loving you - he took the most precious thing you had to offer? Yuck. I am so sick of seeing virginity lauded as the "most precious thing" a woman has. And the plot of this looks fairly dire. Fran is clearly going to sacrifice her career to get back at Sam the Serial Seducer. I vaguely remember liking this book when I was 15-16. Oh dear.

The women in this are 26, and I remember last time I read this book, 26 seemed impossibly old. Now the girls (although not 26 in general) seem impossibly young. Funny.
