Status Updates From Drawing & Painting Trees in...

My trees stinks. I’m great at the human figure but my trees look like a pile of noodles. Last year I picked up practicing languages with the goal of being fluent in 5, English, French, Vietnamese, Spanish, and German (6 later, Italian). Now, I am in a good groove with daily practice. I practice whenever I’m waiting somewhere. If I can do that, I can do this.

I have 2 resolutions for 2019. The first is to fight clutter (especially paper), the second is to draw every day. It doesn’t matter if I’m just scribbling, I need to make an effort at least 15 mins. each day. It’s easy to write daily since our system supports that with emails, texting and our jobs. Unfortunately, people draw very infrequently because nothing supports that.
