Now the heroine seems to have changed her mind about romance, at least with the hero, again with no real explanation as to why. Before, it was a curiosity. Now, it's starting to get annoying.

Just wondering--not a criticism-- But why is the heroine all "Ick, ick, ptui!" about the romances in town. I'd have thought by Ch. 3 we would know, especially since she's expressed her opinion more than once.
