I might have to stop. re: Jobeth, as said by Phoebe: "But she didn't go to college" . . . um, what? But . . she . . was an officer in the military. Commissioned officers enter the military with a 4 year college degree (or greater), or receive officer training following tours of enlisted service. Jobeth is not old enough to have had enlisted service before becoming an officer. Unless I'm misreading this here book.

I loath every incredibly depressing weak willed, doormat, navel gazing character in this book. The only reason I started it was because it was the next in the series. Only it has nothing to do with that series.

Lovin' it! Great cast of characters. Actually two bad guys now, competing with each other for top spot on the vile-and-contemable meter. I still miss Jobeth

Very different, so far, from the first two books in the series, but, I like it a lot. The new characters are interesting and engaging, but, I miss Jobeth and the gang, 'specially Izzy. Oh, and I'd like to hang Ponzi's husband by his nads. Seriously.
