I cannot convey how vehemently I HATE plot lines that are set up such that a character is wronged, and fully entitled to their hurt and anger, and then they are forced into forgiveness (because they are the better person). NO. I hate that. Let them be angry. Let them feel their appropriate emotions. Why does the hurtful party always deserve to be let off the hook?
