Status Updates From Jewels of Time

Aarrrhh this heroine is driving me mad. She’s constantly crying and sobbing.

I guess I like my heroines to be strong and feisty.

I'm done with this book. I don't need a "hero" who constantly threats to rape the lead female. I won't like it when she "falls in love" with him, this author is atrocious and should be ashamed for glorifying rape.

No he says he's in love with but is still going to rape her. That's not love, that's messed up.

How noble of him not to rape her "for the time being". I'm disgusted by this character. These are the ones I want to die and the heroine to be safe and happy without the so called "hero". Why do authors do this?!

He just admitted he's going to tape her. WTF?! I don't think I'll be able to finish this book if he does.

Glad to have found out a little more about the back story of Cameron and the time travel.

I'm still intrigued but not sure why Jake keeps saying she's so young when back during the civil war she most likely would have been married by age 20.

Intriguing thus far. Her aunt and her ex are disgusting with the blackmail and forced marriage. Her ex who "can't wait for the honeymoon", what's he planning on doing raping his wife?

Sad start.
