Status Updates From The Calm Before

Slow part of the story.

It took time to get used to five POVs. Hopefully, everything will work at the end.

Not my normal read, but it has a pretty good beginning.

'"Healer said it'd take a week of rest..." It came out as ita take-a weeka.' Oh god, the street elf accent sounds like Jar-Jar Binks.

There's a character in this book named Cairbre. I'm trying to work out the pronunciation, but my reading voice has decided to call him Carebear.
