Status Updates From La Fin de l'homme rouge

My reading goal for 2026 is to read more non fiction. I think in 2025, I only read 3 or 4? Almost halfway done with this, and its absolutely astounding and incredible. Shines a huge light on a part of history I'm now aware I knew very little about, practically nothing. Also worth noting that the chapter names and structure of the book are profound and poetic.

This chapter about the 2004 terrorist attack in the Moscow metro hit closer to home. So much of what the direct victims and other passersby have to say strongly mirrors American narratives after every shooting or bombing. This book overall has mirrored a lot of sentiments in America from the past decade or so.....
