I think I'm due for a trashy drama

The authors are making it very difficult to like Wystan. Atlas is being an immature jerk and Wy should stand up to him, but he sees that it’s because everyone important to him is treating him like shit and still he thinks it’s funny. His first act as team captain is to start a fight with one of his players and then gossip about his sexuality? I already don’t want him to get an HEA.

I am a little confused about why these 22 year olds are being treated like children. Why do authors writing stepbrother romances insist on writing the parents like they think their children are 12? And they are hockey scholarship students at college but they don’t live on campus? How are you going to be team captain and not even live with the players? Not an encouraging start.

Wystan, despite his unfortunate name, is carrying the heck out of this book even though it’s not him but his love interest who is called mfing Atlas
