Currently set aside to refresh my memory of Plato's Dialogues, and study them in more depth; a commentary on the Enneads would be most helpful

Loved Lucretius, half-heartedly enjoyed Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius (don't accept deity-based Stoicism), and am a little dissatisfied with the arcane Plotinus (whose entire philosophy is based upon or relates to the soul, which he takes for granted but which I do not accept).

Marcus Aurelius, heavily influenced by Epictetus and the Stoics, more sensible advice; it's difficult to believe so thoughtful a man could be the most powerful in the world (as Roman Emperor)

Epictetus - one of the most sensible philosophers I've encountered. Great advice on finding contentment, for those who dare

I really enjoy Lucretius' genial and oftentimes humorous presentation of classical philosophy, on topics like composition of matter, the nature of life and the senses, theology, etc. It's basically like a poetic friend explaining the works of Aristotle
