Status Updates From The Wolverine Way

Chadwick is growing on me. Some quotes that stood out to me from the last couple chapters:

“We say of other creatures, ‘ah, they’re just animals,’ and they are, but we have to expand our definition of ‘animal’ every time we get to know one better.”

Chapter 11 was interesting. Discussed evidence that wolverines are more socially complex than humans initially assumed.

This book exudes masculine energy. It was written in the late 2000s. So far the author has briefly mentioned women biologists and volunteers, only by name and title, but has dedicated entire chapters and pages to the various men who have worked on Glacier National Park’s Wolverine Project.
The book, so far, is more about the people studying wolverines than the animals themselves.
