I'm only on chapter three, but I'm already so moved by this book!

Jung answered my previous questions. Hooray!

Enjoying this a lot! But Jung talks about the previous generation of women as if they were content with their life of purdah, and I wonder how accurate that is? naturally there are exceptions to any rule but but how widespread was dissatisfaction among women in purdah before the generation discussed in this book?

I'm wondering how relevant this still is, since it was written in 1986 - I intend to read the sequel she wrote as soon as I'm done with this one.
