Book V has been my favorite thus far. So many good reflections on how easily people are deceived by false teachers, how important it is to be able to discuss the faith with knowledge and truth, and so much more. Most importantly, how God's plan and timing is perfect.
And what an example Augustine's mother sets to all mothers! How earnestly she prayed for her son and was an upstanding woman in the church.

Opisuje on etap swojego nawrócenia, spotkania z Symplicjanem, poznania historii Wiktoryna oraz lektury listów świętego Pawła (w tym słynny ment Tolle Lege). Do momentu, w którym przeczytałem zdecydowanie wolę momenty, gdy Aureliusz Augustyn opowiada o swoich przeżyciach i momentach życia, niż oddaje się przemyśleniom (jednak nie oznacza to, że one nie są ciekawe).
