Status Updates From Fullmetal Alchemist Ultra E...

Hmm, interesting. Volume 14 sees Lin Yao accept the philosopher's stone that contains Greed. The homunculus "father" heals Ed's and Al's wounds from their battle with Envy, and sends them to see his other son, Wrath, who lays it all out on the table for the Elrics and Roy Mustang. Al has major issues with using the philosopher's stone, made of human souls, to get his body back. And the last shot is of Riza's tattoo!

WOW!! Volume 13 really moves fast. Ed, Lin, and Envy are accidentally swallowed by Gluttony - and learn that Envy's stone was made from an entire city. Ed briefly sees Truth in the portal, and Al's human body, as he finds a way out of Gluttony's stomach. They come face to familiar face with the "father" of the homunculi. Meanwhile, King Bradley tells his backstory to Roy Mustang...but why? Hmm!

So far, Volume 11 has been my favorite. So many delicious feels!! There's something about manga that just hits right when you want to revel in those feels. Maybe its having the images as well as the words.

Anyway - I check out these omnibuses in multitudes for a reason, LOL. As soon as I finish one I can't wait to start the next!
