Status Updates From Lady Audley's Secret

Because there are so many great lines, descriptions and even dueling-wordplay moments between the characters in this, I have so many pages bookmarked--which is ridiculous because I'd never easily be able to find the parts I want by going down through the bookmarks list lol.

At some point in the future, I'll probably just read this book again.

"...a thousand circumstances so slight as to be forgotten by the criminal, but links of iron in the wonderful chain forged by the science of the detective officer..."

I’m really enjoying this book so far. Beautiful writing and am curious to see what Lady Audley’s secret is! Quite mysterious.

I've been reading this on and off all day, and my eyes are finally giving out. It's a long book! I'm pretty sure that I know what's going on in the story, but I'm still anxious to find out for sure....

I've been reading this so avidly, I keep letting my Kindle run down too far, wasting energy, which I hate to irresponsibly do. I need to be more careful. I just didn't want it to go to sleep so I can quickly pick up the story whenever I get a chance. I said in the body of my review that this book is reminiscent of Judge Judy episodes. But it's actually too sad a story--like if Shakespeare wrote a 48 Hours episode.

Alright, actually.. It's my first time for a big classic, and we're reading it as a group, and I'm kinda liking it (imagine using dictionary to find the meaning of the words you've never heard of.. Haha)
