Status Updates From Love Letters to the Dead: C...

It's hard for me to focus on this book. I don't find it interesting. It reminds me of Perks of Being a Wallflower for a girl's perspective but not as endearing.

I'm not impressed with it so far. I expected it to be like a book of essays than a story written through letters to dead celebrities. I don't particularly care for the narrator. She's a freshman in high school so she's young but the way she tells the story makes it seem like she's younger. The language could be considered pretty but at the same time it seems to me like the author is trying too hard.

I will be purchasing this book when it comes out in April. It was cute and now I must find out what happened to her sister. I have to ....
