This is how Brian met The Beatles. Great description: horrified, fascinated amazement.

In the description that John does to Cynthia of Julia, he tells this joke of hers to announce they're leaving: 'As one green vegetable said to the other, lettuce leaf.'

'Ullo.' The pink shirt and scarf extended a hand to John. 'I'm Stu —Stu Sutcliffe.'

"'Get off!' George grinned a bit, using only one corner of his mouth..." With this simple phrase, Jude pictures George's face showing one of the most characteristic of his traits.

Wonderful, and incredibly unique look at John Lennon's life. I can't wait to read the next several books in the series.
