But then I was watching the movie Drinking Buddies and one character gifts another a book. It was Rabbit, Run. The same copy as I had, with the fucking stripes on the cover. So I’m giving it another chance

i desperately need john to pick a struggle. are you going to fumble thru degrading after degrading sex scene, OR are you going to write dog water prose where “seawater” and “tears” and “salt” (verb) appear across 2 sequential sentences. i’d prefer the latter but the point still stands.
